I was found roaming the roads in Licking County on Christmas Eve and taken to the County Animal Shelter. This was the best Christmas EVER!! I was warm and had plenty of food!! As soon as my stray time was up I was brought to Harlequin Haven and I am looking forward to the New Year!

I am 30 pounds underweight, I have pressure sores on my legs, my tail is infected and has an open wound and my paws are cut up from walking on the ice but I am still happy! As you can see from the picture below of my belly I have not always been this skinny. I am on antibiotics now to see if they can get the infection out of my tail otherwise it will need to be amputated.

Although I am homeless this is the best Christmas ever, and Santa even left presents here for me. I now have a soft bed, toys and am fed 5 times a day and as much love and attention as I want!

Update January 17: I am still gaining weight and enjoying being a inside dog! Good news on my tail it has healed up and is no longer infected!! I have about 10 pounds left to gain and I really enjoying gaining weight! I love eating!!!

Update February 6: Well I gained more weight and grandma says I am now ready for adoption!! I am a very happy boy, I love to bounce and play so I would like a family who wants to bounce an play with me!!

Please can you spare a few dollars to help the Rescue continue to help me and other Danes like me? It would be greatly  appreciated. Without the Rescue who knows where we would have ended up!!
