I was taken to the Marietta County Humane Society when my mom and dad decided to get a divorce. Mom dumped myself and my best friend a hound at the shelter, she told them I was afraid of loud noises and had been abused by my previous owner. When dad came to the shelter he told them that I had been with them since I was a tiny puppy.

I was very terrified at the shelter and the shelter was afraid for me so they contacted HHGDR to come and get me. I was picked up before the end of the day and by time I was ready for bed I was at the rescue. I am still a bit scared but the rescue is being very gentle with me and I know I am safe now.

As you can see from the picture below I was very thin when I arrived at the rescue.

Please can you spare a few dollars to help the Rescue continue to help me and other Danes like me it would be greatly  appreciated.
