I was picked up wandering the busy streets of Columbus with my 2 puppies Opal & Pearl. I was doing my best to keep them out of harms way and struggling to care for them. Luckily we were taken to the Franklin County Animal Shelter where we would be safe. They gave us much needed food and medical care including removing the millions of fleas we were all covered with. When our stray time was up HHGDR was waiting to take us to the rescue.

Most people coming to the rescue were not interested in me because I was so small for a Dane but one wonderful family thought I was just the right size. When they came they were looking at the mixes because they did not want another big Dane. But it ended up they still wanted that great Dane personality and I was just what they were looking for.  I now have a wonderful family and I never have to worry about fending for myself again! I love my mom, dad and big brother!!
