Chester 

Hi! My name is Chester and I came into rescue many years ago. Actually I went to a foster home which turned out to be my permanent home.  My owner and I lived together until one day he died. I was there alone with him for several days before anyone came looking for him. I was taken to the Green County Animal Shelter where they did not understand what I had been through.
When they adopted me out and I did not do well, they were going to put me down. Luckily the rescue heard about me and sent my foster mom to get me.  She was new to rescue at the time and also did not understand me, but she did not quit trying to help me with my problems.  Well, years have passed and my foster mom is my real mom now. I know how lucky I am to have her as a mom, and of course she also knows how lucky she is to have me. :-))

Not bad for a boy about to be 8 years old HUH!!!
